10.11.10 (Day 4)

Tristina was released from the hospital. Being released from the labor and delivery without your baby was a very challenging test of strength and faith. You get in the truck where the car seat is waiting for him and you go home to a perfectly set up nursery empty handed. It really was a test of faith, and to be able to see through what is seen in the physical to the spiritual where there is peace.

I too had to leave the hospital empty handed after my second child was born. I understand the aching feeling that you have inside like a piece of you is missing...for me, I always reminded myself that my son needed something that I couldn't give to him, only the NICU staff could help him with that, and even though he wasn't with me he was in the best place possible for him. I am very sorry that you are going through this but remember to stay strong, keep the faith and pray hard. God never hands you more than you can handle, sometimes you you may need to ask for his help in handling it though. I hope that something I have said will help you get through this tough time. Your family and baby Asher are in my prayers.
